Are EXTERNAL DEVELOPERS RESPONSIBLE?
Facebook, along with taking the spot for number one social networking site in the world, is also one of the biggest platforms on the Internet. In simpler terms, Facebook allows third-party external developers to create their own applications. One of the most easily recognizable applications is Farmville. Simulating a personal farm that must be tended to quite often, millions of Facebook users have become passionate about this game. Check out Emma Stone’s take on Farmville below:

Clearly, people are enjoying Farmville and many other games. Created by Zynga, a third-party that creates online games, it is the most popular Facebook gaming service. Although it personally doesn't appeal to me, I know it would seriously interest others. However, in some cases, it can't! Zynga has not yet catered to the needs of the disabled. It is not accessible to those who are impaired, like other games are. For example, Mafia Wars, also produced by Zynga, can be read through a special program. Why did Zynga not make this an option for all of their applications? Accessibility for the disabled is clearly not a high priority for them.
Since they are running their application through Facebook, I'm sure Facebook has at least some reign over these third-parties. Why don't they call for better accessibility in the games?
